Morrathil: Wrath of the Forest

Privacy policy

Effective 8 October 2026

The short version

  • The game doesn't collect any personal data.
  • Your save files stay on your phone (and in your own Android backup, if you use it).
  • Google handles the in-app purchase. We never see your payment details.
  • The Unity engine and Google Play may collect some technical device data under their own policies.

Who we are

Morrathil: Wrath of the Forest ("the game") is made by Astral Kranium Ltd, an independent game studio in Glasgow, United Kingdom. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Astral Kranium Ltd. You can reach us at contact@astralkranium.com.

This policy covers the Android version of the game, distributed through Google Play.

What we collect

Nothing through the game. It is single-player. It has no accounts, no login and no chat. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking in the game, and the game does not send personal data to us.

If you email us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We keep them only as long as we need to handle your request, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Save files

Your progress is saved on your device and stays there. We cannot see it. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the game or clearing its app data in your phone's settings. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this data in your Google account backup, which Google controls. You can manage that in your phone's backup settings.

In-app purchase

The first forest is free. One in-app purchase unlocks the rest of the game. Google Play processes that purchase under Google's privacy policy. We never see your card or payment details. The game only receives Google's confirmation that the purchase went through, so it can unlock the content.

The Unity engine

The game is built with the Unity engine, made by Unity Technologies. The engine may send limited technical information to Unity Technologies, such as your device model, operating system version and hardware specs, and engine crash and error reports. Unity handles that data under its own game player and app user privacy policy.

Google Play

Google Play may collect information about installs and crashes under Google's privacy policy. We don't control that collection.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) you have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. The game sends us no personal data. If you have emailed us, you can ask for a copy of that correspondence or ask us to delete it. For data held by Google or Unity, contact them using the links above.

If you have a question or concern, email us at contact@astralkranium.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
